To commemorate India's 78th Independence Day and instill patriotism among all. The Independence was celebrated at ABS Global Smart School, korattur with resounding success.The program began with the hoisting of the national flag Students, teachers, and parents came together to commemorate this significant day, showcasing their love and respect for the nation.The event instilled a sense of patriotism and nationalism among student. Students showcased their patriotism through their speeches and variety programs .The speech in English was delivered by Sanjana sree and Abdia Fathima ,The Hindi speech was delivered by Tesia Mathew and the Tamil speech was delivered by Lauren Drusilla They also presented mesmerizing performance of patriotic songs followed by a classical and a fusion dance.The scintillating dance performance of the tiny tots of kinder Garten brought a joy of peace and happiness among the crowd. Finally the event ended by singing the National Anthem with a happy note

International yoga day was celebrated at ABS GLOBAL SMART SCHOOL KORATTUR with much fervour and enthusiasm with the theme "Yoga for Self and Society." This subject emphasises the double benefits of yoga practice: enhancing personal well-being and improving society at large. Our students recognised that inner serenity and self-care are the cornerstones of a happy and healthy existence and conveyed in with their beautiful Asanas. The yoga educator along with the physical education department organized a plethora of activities for all students ranging from asanas, pranayam to Suryanamaskar. The students stretched their arms, bent their legs, rolled their neck and twisted every sinew in their body with greater dexterity, in a spectacular synchronicity. The songs sung by the choir brought energetic vibe to the session. A short speech was given by Advitha of grade 7 A which divulged the theme of Yoga and the importance of performing yoga in day to day life. The session ended with meditation of 2 minutes and students were relaxed, full of positive energy after it.

National Doctors Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at ABS global smart school korattur. The event aimed to honor the dedicated and hardworking doctors in our country. One of the reputed radiation oncologists DR.TN vijayshree was our guest of honour who graced the occasion with her inspirational speech , gave advice on healthy habits and techniques to follow a healthy and a balanced life.Various programs were organised, such as an English speech by Nidhi Manoj of grade 9 to express gratitude towards the medical professionals.A fantabulous mime show was narrated by our students through their gestures which portrayed the do's and don'ts of being healthier and safer in human life , also portraying the importance of role of doctors in one' s life.The tiny tots of kg students disguised themselves as doctors were the highlight of the show.,Our principal Mrs.Gowri Dinesh, vice principal Mrs.Anusha Aravind , Kg cordinator Mrs. Geetha graced the occasion and finally the event came to an end with expressing the gratitude by giving vote of thanks
